- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add cubed chicken and brown until fully cooked through, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and diced chicken ham until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan to release browned bits.
- Stir in the Cajun seasoning and dry rotini pasta.
- Cover and simmer until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, toss to combine, and serve warm.
Notes
Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter sauce consistency.
